Litigation
- Representation of companies ranging from small to publically traded in trials, arbitrations, and mediations–appearing in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts.
- Litigated matters including disputes over business contracts, mineral property ownership and lease rights, employment conflicts including non-competition agreements, trademark infringement, investment fraud, and small tort cases.
Appeals.
- Briefing attorney on appeals to federal and state courts (including Fifth and Tenth Federal Circuits, and Wyoming and Texas Supreme Courts).
- Cited counsel in nine reported decisions. Accomplished in oral arguments.
Transactions
- Provide general legal analysis and advice to small businesses on matters such as corporate structure and operations, employment matters, and statutory and regulatory changes as requested.
- Assisted in all facets of corporate acquisitions ranging from $85 million to $500,000. Assisted in small securities offerings.
Pro Bono Representation.
- Maintain pro bono case load with volunteer organization handling divorce and other family law matters.
